Professor Chung-Kang Peng is a physicist specializing in statistical physics, complex systems science, and nonlinear dynamics with a strong commitment to interdisciplinary research. His work bridges physics and biomedical science, leading to significant contributions in both fields. He served as the founding director of the Center for Dynamical Biomarkers (CDB) at BIDMC of Harvard Medical School, which became an independent non-profit research organization in Massachusetts in 2021. Previously, Professor Peng co-founded PhysioNet, a platform supported by the NIH, and was the founding Dean of the College of Health Sciences and Technology at National Central University in Taiwan. In 2023, he joined Southeast University as a Chief Professor.
